Offline lectures
On February 28th, February 29th, and March 12th the first three lectures of the AstroSandbox project were given in Zhytomyr, Chernihiv and Kryvyi Rih. These lessons were dedicated to using simple geometric principles to solve some interesting and difficult astronomy problems. Five topics were covered:
- 1Yearly motion of the Sun along the ecliptics
- 2Phase angle and phases
- 3Proper motion of the stars
- 4Solar eclipses
- 5Double stellar systems and planetary-stellar systems
